It must be said that contemporary Tamil poetry does not have any theoretical ideas to mention. A couple of exceptions. In my generation, Devadachan and S.Shanmugam, only one person in this generation is available to me. He is Nesamithra.
Philosophy and poetry do not usually mix. Like science, philosophy ignores emotions and advances logic. Poetry, on the other hand, goes beyond logic-a-logic to pitha.
