Acne is the most common skin disorder but could be mistreated or underestimated in its impact. The author's work on acne on resistance, and during his MD on the psychological manifestation of the disease, has shown that it can affect the psyche of patients. Now acne is being seen commonly in female patients even beyond 25 years of age, the so called 'post-adolescent acne'. The book is targeted at practitioners and is divided into easy to read and clinical sections. It is arguably the first book of its kind that has been written keeping in mind the practitioners.
