Here are the stories of three men who were extraordinary in their own times and are still greatly admired today.

Winston Churchill was a British statesman, army officer and writer who was Prime Minister during the dark years of the Second World War. His strength and determination were much admired, and he was a formidable leader.

Multi-talented artist Leonardo da Vinci used his engineering skills and knowledge of anatomy in inventions, such as flying machines. He also painted some classic masterpieces, such as The Last Supper and the iconic Mona Lisa, one of the most recognised images of all time.
