These are the stories of four underrated women, who achieved extraordinary things and left us a legacy. Film star Hedy Lamarr invented a secret communication system which was continually rejected, but later adopted by the US Navy. Ángela Ruiz Robles invented a mechanical precursor to the digital tablet – 100 years ahead of her time – which wasn’t taken seriously.
