The company has been a importer of English books from the very beginning. Today it is leading in the import of Medical, International School, Fiction and Non-Fiction books from various countries including United Kingdom, India, Pakistan, Malaysia, Singapore and more. Books are imported from major world publishers including but not limited to Elsevier, Nelson Thrones, Pearson Education, Harper Collins, Taylor & Francis, Oxford University Press, Cambridge University Press, Penguin, Lippincott, Naveet, Alston, Redspot.

Keeping in line with the technological developments of the period, the company launched jeyabookcentre.com, the company's online store. Through which orders are taken and delivered island wide in the fastest possible time.

The company has also ventured into the field of publication and has published more than 200 titles including textbooks, workbooks and supplementary books which are preferred and included in the curriculum of in a number of private schools and also past papers for scholarship and local O/Level and A/Level exams.

The company is also a prime sponsor and active participant in the annually held Colombo International Book Fair at BMICH.
